About
My name is Sheri Balzotti, and this is my 14th year teaching full-time. I started my career teaching one year of special education followed by three years as third grade classroom teacher in Maynard. Then I taught one year of fourth grade in Berlin before coming to Tyngsborough. I taught special education for three years here at TES in grades 3-5, and this is my sixth year as a fifth grade classroom teacher. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Framingham State College and I currently hold two teaching licenses in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am currently taking online graduate classes to increase my knowledge in the areas of math, science, and general teaching practices.
Personally, I have been married to my husband Greg for 7.5 years and we live in a nearby town. My husband is a police officer in Maynard. We have two daughters, Nicole and Emily. Nicole will be 6 in October and Emily just turned 4 in July. Nicole will be attending Kindergarten and Emily will be attending preschool here at TES this year. In my spare time I love to read books and spend time with my family. We enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, swimming, going to the beach, camping, skiing, bike riding, and playing in the yard.
